MicroExplosion Year In Review
It's been a great year getting MicroExplosion going and I've enjoyed it immensely. With 122 posts since June 13, here a few of the MicroExplosion highlights for 2006:
- Most popular post of the year (thanks to Seth Godin): Get Your 15 Megs of Fame
- Second most popular post of the year (thanks to Steve Rubel): The Six Categories of Web 2.0
- Favorite personal interview of the year: Realverse.com, Sept. 19 episode. On an interesting side note...it was in this interview that I first used the 15 megs of fame line...it didn't make the cut for the interview but payed off later for sure!
- Random post of the year: Transcript of the instant message conversation with Chris (from PourOut.com) when neither of us had anything to blog about.
- Most controversial post of the year: Apple owners code of silence.
- Best idea that hasn't taken off yet: Missionaries to Second Life...check the final paragraph of the post.
- Ouch, that hurts but it sure is funny: Sonic on blogging.
- Lamest post of the year: My Election Day Haiku. You ever have one of those times when something seemed like a good idea at the time but in hindsight you wonder what you were thinking? This is one of those for me.
- Great find of the year: Tom Greever interview regarding the Christian vs. Christ-follower videos from Community Christian Church.
- Personal favorite: Elf Yourself video...seeing the picture of Chris on there cracks me up every single time.
